I have frequently put a reminder about checking the sidebar for the Sunday Coupon Preview and I am sure that less than half of us really look at the coupons on a regular basis...am I right?

THIS example would speak volumes as to why to take advantage of this feature when you are couponing.

I am out of detergent, with a family of 6, this is not a good thing. Especially when I am already behind on laundry! I really did not want to get out today in the rain/sleet mixture, but since I wouldn't be able to get to the store until Monday, I was considering going for the detergent, some milk, and the chicken breasts that are Buy 1 Get 2 FREE (understand that the store is at least 20 minutes away).

I decided to glance at the Sunday Coupon Preview and what do you think I saw, THIS coupon staring at me -

All 2x Ultra or Small & Mighty Laundry Detergent –$2.00 off any 1

Did you know that the All Detergent is BOGO this week at Harris Teeter? I almost missed out on some major savings!

I would have gotten the detergent for half price (with BOGO, each item rings at half-price), but AFTER using the coupon when it comes out in the paper on Sunday, I will pay a little over $1 for my detergent.

The detergent regular price is $6.29, half price @ $3.15, and with $2 off...a mere $1.15!!!!!

Now you can see the importance of matching the coupon with the sales, and looking at the coupons that will be arriving in your paper the next Sunday via Sunday Coupon Preview!!!

If you are wanting to know more about couponing and how to take your couponing to another level, contact me about attending or hosting a Coupon Makeover Class in your area.
